This year started with much attention being focused on income management and the ALPA FOODcard. The health and nutrition strategy focused for the first part of the year on education relating to the FOODcard. There was a widespread canvassing of communities that were to implement FOODcard by both the nutrition and training managers. This also included external education sessions through the National Nutrition Network Conference (2008, Alice Springs), an ABC radio segment and various other forums.
