After gathering mangers and staff from different remote communities, ALPA held a 2 day CDP conference in Darwin. At the conference, everyone was treated to a range of guest speakers such as Charlie King OAM, CEO Alastair King, Deputy Chairman Micky Wunungmurra, and Community Services General Manager Emma Kelly. The guest speakers were able to cast a vision to up and coming plans and bring inspiration to what the division are a part of in helping remote communities grow.

The ALPA CDP staff were also given the opportunity to come together and collaborate around current and upcoming programs through various workshops, people were able to bring share their experience from various communities. With so much community created and so many stories and cultures shared, the entire conference was an incredible experience.

We would like to thank all those who attended and all who were involved in organising such a great event, and we hope to make this an annual event.
