ALPA worked closely with the Milingimbi and Ramingining School leadership teams to identify students that would get the most out of the experience.

Upon arrival to Darwin, the students were taken to the Darwin support office to meet with ALPA CEO Alastair King. They voiced what ALPA means for their community and also heard about what our support office administers.

Solodi Buthungguliwuy who chaperoned the students from Milingimbi said,

"It was an amazing trip to be able to supervise our students was an honour, it is a great chance for our youth and myself could attend this conference. Thank you,"

While student, Zoe Mailbirr said, "ALPA is a huge company and it is good to see the Darwin support office. There are so many people here that help our community"- Zoe Malibirr- Ramo Student

The students attend the Conference on Friday with Ramingining Principal, Sue McAvoy.

"This was a great opportunity for these students, it is great to see ALPA continuing to support our students and community members. We would like to thank the hosts of the conference for being accommodating and look forward to bringing a bigger delegation in 2023."
