Bukmak Constructions Chairperson, Fay Matjarra Garrawurra is ALPA's community member representative for Ramingining, and she has served on the ALPA Board since 2014. Appointed by the store committee, Fay says, “On the ALPA board we have a voice. We can see now that ALPA is really encouraging Yolŋu workers in the communities, both through employment and training. I am very proud of our people entering into the workforce through ALPA-provided employment.”

Fay was elected in 2023 as Deputy Chairperson of ALPA and is also the only female Pastor in Ramingining for the Uniting and Aboriginal Christian Congress.
