  • Leading remote retail since 1972

Leading remote retail since 1972

Our story began in 1972 with a single community store in Ramingining, a remote community in East Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. What started as a commitment to providing a reliable source of nutritious food in Arnhem Land has grown into a thriving network of stores, fostering economic independence and job creation for First Nations people.

At the heart of our journey is a vision to empower communities through quality products, services, and meaningful employment. ALPA's Member Stores, guided by the ALPA Board and Store Committees, have become vital hubs in the Northern Territory and Far North Queensland.

ALPA Member Stores

Our member stores are 100% owned and operated by ALPA and create surplus which is reinvested back into member communities.
