Rulku means 'family' in Yolngu Matha from the Milingimbi community in East Arnhem Land.

Rulku Enterprises is a locally run business on Milingimbi Island in East Arnhem Land and provides 21 room lodge accommodation and labour-hire services in the community. Rulku Lodge is the only commercial accommodation available in Milingimbi and provides an oasis style, home away from home visit complete with comfortable rooms and a full set of facilities. Milingimbi Island is part of the Crocodile Islands, located approximately half a kilometre off the north coast of Central Arnhem Land, around 440 km east of Darwin and 200 km west of Nhulunbuy.

Rulku Enterprises is a locally run business and was established in 2013 after Milingimbi Traditional Owner David Marapiwuy saw a need to create an accommodation lodge for visiting service providers, contractors, and tourists. Rulku Lodge continues to be the only available accommodation service on island and is committed to operating a sustainable and successful business that contributes to positive economic futures, training, and employment pathways for local Yolngu people.
